Quite a month coming up... I'll just give you two highlights to which
I am particularly looking forward:

Dividend with UBERZONE at Mighty

I remember the first time I ever heard 2kool4skool, you know, the part
where Afrika Bambaataa says, "Uberzone, drop the tone..." was at one of
those "rave" parties and I realized that we were all, indeed, way too
cool for school. Spelling no longer mattered. Just the bass. The
soul sonic force, of course. With that in mind, let's all have more
transformative experiences with music. You can start by coming to
Mighty next Friday (June 4) to enjoy two sound systems and one great
party.

Subalicious presents Tipper at DNA Lounge

The first time I ever saw Tipper do his DJ thing was at the Fusion
Festival in 2001. This was the same year that the trippy visuals
projected on the main stage were so good that a guy became convinced he
could actually "enter the kaleidoscope" if he just ran for it. The guy
seemed a little confused after being pulled off the screen, but my
brain was just as shocked by watching Dave Tipper scratch. His glitchy
production style plus his turntable skills equals an amazing show.

How many top-notch breaks producers are touring here in the same month?
I think San Francisco might be the new breakbeat capital of the world.
And there are a lot more fun things to do in June... for a full
listing, check out:
