hello folks,

we hope your new year was fun & safe.

we have added a substantial amount of material to the OEM Radio library,
and have some exciting music coming soon to tell you about. check out all
the information & music at http://www.oemradio.org.

----

Recent Additions:

LSD Records - Liquid Sound Design is based in UK and is the
world/chill/dub/downtempo imprint from the infamous trance label Dragonfly.
Humphrey was kind enough to send a massive load of CDs for us to peruse, and
we managed to find a huge amount of material prime for inclusion to the OEM
library. highlights include: Celtic Cross (Simon Posford), Dub Trees, Kumba
Mela Experiment, and Youth in Dub. we added 31 tracks to the library.
LSD's website is at http://www.liquidsounddesign.com

Shiva Subcontractor - we told you about this group in the last mailing.
Shiva Subcontractor is the newest project from Cyril (Sir-Eel) and Raven of
WaterJuice fame. these chaps are San Francisco psy-scene refugees that have
moved towards concept-driven music. we included the whole album because
it's so damned good. it's deep and driving but not just in the beats: Shiva
Subcontractor remarries the the bass with the rhythm with heavy didgeridoo
that's been warped and modified. did we mention the mouth harp? who ever
thought that didg and mouth harp could be made to sound so psychedelic? we
added 8 tracks. check out Shiva Subcontractor at http://www.vaporvent.com

Psychetropic - i ran across this released called China Radio Sunshine while
working at the Ambient Airlines shop. i was highly impressed. so we
contacted them and they sent us a copy! Psychetropic is one of many music
projects from Phoenix, AZ resident Todd Fletcher. he releases his own
albums on the Microrelease label. the sound is as though the Black Dog had
taken a bit too much acid & took a spirit quest on the mesas of the
southwest. we added 10 tracks. Microrelease's website is at
http://www.microrelease.com/

gasp - brian mc sent in some new tracks & remixes from the road. he put
together an EP called San Francisco is Now!. yeah, we're not sure of that
title either, but hey, the music is some of the most inspired IDM around.
we added 4 tracks. gasp does not have a website.

Monotonik Records - we sucked up a bunch of really beautiful material from
the free net-label Monotonik. yes, free music. woah! you can download
their entire catalogue. we dig a lot of their music, and included tracks
from S.T., Crashed by Car, Sleepy Town Manufacture, and Anders Svensson.
most of these inclusions fall in the IDM catagory. did i mention how a lot
of IDM sucks these days? Monotonik proves that there is good free music out
there. we included 25 tracks. definitely check out Monotonik at
http://www.monotonik.com/

Kikapu Records - we also grabbed some new tracks from net-label Kikapu
including music from KOSIK, r_garcia, DubJay and more. we added 7 tracks.
Kikapu is at http://www.kikapu.com

Coming Soon:

Third Eye Tribe - Jacob Cino has been producing music for years out of
Vancouver, Canada. jungle, breaks, hip hop, downtempo, dub, reggae, and
everything in between. jacob makes thoughtful music for heads, for feets,
and for peoples. and he's not affraid to step up to the mic.

Ultimae Records - i think it's best to merely state Ultimae's philosophy:
panoramic music for panoramic people. all of their releases have been
favorites for quite a while. http://www.ultimae.com
