hello folks,

in January, i went through the OEM Library and removed about 10% of the
tracks. it was definitely housekeeping time. among other things, i removed
a track that was near and dear to my heart. but as a favor to davidb who
runs the technical end of the station (and possibly to Steve Wonder), the
IDM-Glitch remake of Cherie Amour has been removed. davidb once described
his reaction as though his stomach was trying to leap out of his body and
physically choke him.

anyways, here's a rundown of our newest additions to the library:

Solar Fields - [Extended] and [Leaving Home] - Magnus from Sweden has done
it again and shown his miraculous composition and sound design skills.
leaving the "trance" part of "ambient-trance" behind, both records sound
fresh and amazing. [Extended], the more ambient of the two, holds the
distinction of being the first album added to OEM Radio in its entirety.

Bluetech - Sines & Singularities - the new collection of singles from the
master knob-twiddler on Aleph-Zero records. this album holds the
distinction of being the SECOND album put in OEM Radio library in whole.
and only so because the Solar Fields arrived first =)

Kelpe - Sea Inside Body - an amazing and pleasant IDM record from UK artist
Kelpe. reminiscent of tipper and boards of canada (circa 1997).

Dakini Records - sent their new albums from Puff Dragon and label head
Makyo. ethno downtempo lounge bliss. http://www.dakinirecords.com
