calling all people - we need your help!
Sunday May 7 - How Weird Street Faire - two weeks from sunday!
we need volunteers for the Dub Beautiful/False Profit stage at the festival
in the following areas:
Deco - help decorate the audience area & stage - 10:30am
Stage - help schlep and assemble the stage platform and backdrop - 9:00am
Breakdown - help tear everything down and load it out (this is the most
critical group - so flowers and weird hats for everyone in this crew!) -
8:00pm
Sound - need a couple of people to assist the sound engineers setting up
speakers, running cable, etc. no previous sound-knowledge necessary. -
10:00am
Greeters - need a few people to help the Faire organizers at the gate by
smiling and being weird. costumes encouraged for these positions. - 3 hour
shift during the day at your leisure.
-All volunteers will gain entry to the Faire for free ($10 cash value) and
be granted access to the special DBC/FP backstage VIP lounge with full bar,
six midgets, and a monkey- (okay, beer and vodka drinks, but we're really
working on hiring midgets)
