hello folks,
i am very proud to announce that we have past the 100 hours /1000
tracks mark! we are currently at 111 hours of music with 1064 tracks of
original electronic music.

and i'd like to think that instead of working to code a nice website, i'm
busy spending that time sussing out good music to add to the library. i'm
not sure how true this is, though.
New Music:
Rena Jones - Driftwood. The "daughter of San Francisco's electronic music
scene" releases her newest album on Bluetech's artist-run label, Native
State. We've got the tracks in the library in advance of the release
(thanks, evan!). It's a beautiful record with Rena's signature string
arrangements blended hypnotically with her fine-tuned electronic
compositions. Release date is Sep.12.

Sariah Storm - Fractured and Unruly. Sariah has long been a friend to OEM
and Dub Beautiful, and had released her first EP on LA's DROIDBehavior
label. The tracks flow freely between IDM and minimal techno with a dark
edge straight through. I think this is ultra-pre-release and may not be on

Ultimae - Oxycanta. First in a new series of compilations from France's
Ultimae outfit. Moving away from the "ambient trance" peghole, it's a blend
of spaced out downtempo and ambient music. The compilation was assembled by
the label's seldom-heard other half, Sunbeam.

Welder - Vines and Stream. Welder is the alter ego of breakbeat producer
Esko, a recent San Francisco transplant whom I have had the pleasure of
meeting recently. Vines and Stream is his first downtempo release, coming

David Last - WhatWhat?. NYC's orgo-glitch head wilds out with a net.label
release on unfoundsound that bangs out sparse minimal techno done with

simply wonderful music continues unabated. New-ish releases from Unit21
